SWEET!

Reviewed by Vincent Todd, Wichita, KS, March 30, 2010

Suspenseful, mysterious, and filled with sexual tension, SWEET, SWEET JESSIE is a story that will stick with you.

Jessie VanZant is trying to follow in her fatherÕs footsteps by coaching a high school football team.  Jessie is loveable.  SheÕs smart, sexy, independent, and totally devoted to the high school kids she teaches and coaches.  When she begins receiving threats to resign the coaching position, she hires a private investigator.

Pierce Winters is flawed and haunted by his past, and struggles to be a better man when he meets the first client to his new PI business, Jessie VanZant.  HeÕs an interesting, complex man who finally realizes he does have something to look forward to, to live for.

I was surprised when the culpritÕs identity was finally revealed, but all the pieces came together to form a very satisfying puzzle.

If you havenÕt read Shelley Dawn yet, start doing so now.

I enjoyed the story line of Sweet, Sweet Jessie. The suspense built to an intense climax. I was familiar with the setting as Tom grew up just south of Derby in Norwich.
